HERRCO is a Member of the European collective organization ΕΧPRA (Extended Producer Responsibility Alliance), which includes the National Recycling Systems that have been set up by the responsible packaging producers and operate on a non-profit basis. Participation in EXPRA provides access to know-how for the best recovery of packaging waste, as well as the most effective negotiations on common issues that concern the Recycling Systems at European Union level.
HERRCO is also a Member of the European collective organization PRO EUROPE (Packaging Recovery Organization Europe), which manages the European Recycling trademark, known as Green Dot. Green Dot – now on most product packaging that is marketed in Greece – indicates that this packaging has financially contributed to CAMS – RECYCLING to fulfil the legal obligation.
HERRCO is a member of the international solid waste association (ISWA). It is a global, independent, non-profit, public benefit association and is the only association to promote sustainable and professional waste management worldwide.
ISWA has members in more than 90 countries, with national organizations participating in 40 of these. It has more than 1,400 members worldwide, while approximately 100,000 additional members are connected via National Organizations.
